So far I have somewhat paid attention to corporate links, but not really to brands' animal testing policies. Not enough. But now that I am blogging – that is, talking about and helping maybe people decide where to put their money – meaning – what kind of mindset and world to invest in, in the end – I cannot look past this topic.
In 21st century there is no excuse for companies to test on animals and no reason to buy products from companies that do test on animals, because there are plenty of animal- and environment-friendly alternatives available. Also, first, we should always think what we buy, and do we really need it. There is no point in hoarding stuff we are not going to use, and if you do not use it, consider giving it to someone else.
It can be debated whether grooming products are necessary at all, to what extent, and so on, and the environmental burden cosmetic industry is and as much of a beauty junkie I am, I always think twice before buying something.
We are responsible for our actions. Companies are responsible for their actions and policies and they need to listen to their customers. Nothing speaks (to them) like money does.
